Ringwood Hall Chesterfield Wedding Venue Review

ringwood_hall_front_headerHaving just got back from yet another wedding at Ringwood Hall, I thought that it would be nice to share this amazing venue with you all.  I’ve performed at Ringwood Hall, Chesterfield, Derbyshire on a number of occasions now, and it always excites me when I find out that a wedding couple who want to book me for their magic and mind reading wedding entertainment are holding there reception at this venue.

The setting is a beautiful Georgian grade 11 listed Manor House at the gateway to the Peak District National Park.

Ringwood Hall Hotel is in an ideal location, situated minutes from the centre of Chesterfield, and is easily found from junctions 29 & 30 of the M1 with complimentary parking for over 150 vehicles.  However, the gorgeous estate style setting and scenery make you feel that you are miles from anywhere.

I’ve always performed here in the summer months, and have been really lucky with the weather, which enables the guests to make great use of the terrace outside the reception suite.  This setting is great to perform in, and I am able to adapt and select my routines so that they involve a large group, as the situation turns into a small informal show.  During yesterdays wedding this was exactly what happened, and I entertained the family and friends with mind reading routines that involved lots of audience participation and guests joining me on the impromptu stage.

If you are thinking of a wedding reception venue in Derbyshire, why not drive over to Ringwood Hall and have a look around, being close to the Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield and the McCarthur Glen East Midlands Designer Outlet at the M1 junction 28, you could combine it with a shopping trip (just don’t tell the Groom!).
